Availa records a student's lectures, with the instructor's permission, files them to the right class automatically, transcribes them, and builds notes, practice questions and a daily drill from what the student actually heard. It uses active recall and spaced repetition (FSRS) so material comes back right before it would be forgotten. Availa was founded in 2026 by Matthew Lee, a student at Boston College, and launched at BC in Fall 2026. It is available on iPhone and the web at availalearn.com.
